Cosmetic standards coaching

Posted August 15, 2017 in Argan,Quality & Standards

As part of the support provided to the argan producers to comply with national and international standards (PGI, food safety and cosmetics standards), the PAMPAT project team regularly organizes training and coaching sessions.

The objectives of these sessions are to familiarize the operators with the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and procedures needed to obtain the Ministry of Health recognition, and to sensitize and train producers on traceability and documents recording as a follow up.

Eight producers have been diagnosed so far and are being accompanied for the preparation of the necessary files. This process is required to enhance the competitiveness of the argan value chain operators and therefore improve their positioning on international markets.
